Hide AdBeatrix and Seumas will discuss what their island base means to them and their businesses.
This will be a fascinating session and discussion on what it means to base a media business away from the perceived urban creative centres, and how the islands and their culture influence the work they produce, that is in demand well beyond their home.
Commenting, Beatrix said: “I have never been an urban person and have been rurally based for 25 years. Creative inspiration was the main reason for me to establish TrixPixMedia on the Outer Hebrides 10 years ago. The island base has proved a rich source of stories to make films about and talent to collaborate with.
“We’ve embraced digital technology to facilitate production and create quality content with a fresh point of view for local, national and international audiences.”
