Reader George Harding saw our plan to include a new section in the paper featuring reader’s pictures, and although they’ve all been landscapes to date, George thought he’d send in something a wee bit different.

Taking up the story, George told us: “I was out for a walk and headed into the area surrounding Lews Castle. It was truly magical with colour absolutely everywhere, and such a wide variety of many different mushrooms and insects, plants and flowers, it’s just such a diverse area, and every season seems to unlock something different.”

George has his own photographic Facebook site at: www.facebook.com/GeorgeHardingPhotography.
